Christine was recommended to us by our landscape gardener, as we had very specific ideas for our garden and obviously needed professional help! She listened to what we wanted and drew up plans that needed hardly any adjustments. Christine turned our dream garden into a reality. She was professional and took on board exactly what we wanted. Christine came to replace another designer who had let us down so she was operating within a tight timescale. Christine listened to our needs and came up with an imaginative design to replace a tired and worn out garden. She then coordinated the landscapers, electricians and surveyor. When an unforeseen problem emerged she quickly came up with a solution so that the project kept moving forward. The end result was a garden completed within the tight time frame and one that definitely has the ‘wow’ factor.'

After many years as an unused "children only" wilderness zone, Christine has transformed the bottom of our garden and revealed space we never appreciated we had. This included some tricky considerations including how to connect this zone to the rest of the garden, different ground levels, some large trees and an existing building structure. We now have decking, beautiful espalier pear trees, a series of beds on different levels and a wildlife pond. The space works really well and we are using all of it to enjoy our garden fully. Christine has a collaborative approach and listens to ideas as well as providing her own. She makes a great partner for a project - she is professional, practical and patient which is what you need to get the design and planting scheme to achieve the right result. My garden has just been completed and am absolutely thrilled with Christine's design. She understood the brief well and thought outside the box to provide effective solutions to a number of tricky problems, in particular a 30ft hedge at the bottom of the garden which doesn't belong to us. Following some fairly major building works we wanted to remodel our front garden but were stuck for ideas. We engaged Christine to design us a large patio with associated landscaping, paths and planting. We would heartily recommend her, she listened to what we wanted (not always the case) and adjusted her designs in response to our comments. Christine has designed our front and back gardens and has done a great job with both. The gardens are quite different (one country, the other more formal), so she is able to adapt to different styles. She was very good at listening to our requirements, but also contributed lots of her own thoughts and suggestions. Christine is very knowledgeable about all aspects of garden design; e.g. flowers, shrubs, pathways, materials etc., so was able to deal with all the elements and did not need to point us in other people's direction for various matters. She was also very efficient in terms of responding to any queries we had throughout the process and presented her plans on schedule, so our gardens were finished on schedule. She has also been available for any follow-up questions we may have. I would definitely recommend Christine for garden design work.
